Recently, I spoke to a customer who had her local utility company conduct and energy evaluation at her home. She was prompted to do so because her utility bills seemed awfully high for a house the size of hers. She had also noticed how often her furnace would come on even though we have had a mild winter here in Central Kentucky. Her house just didn’t seem to stay warm.

As she spoke with me about the issues she was having, she mentioned some of the recommendations from the utility company. She needed air sealing, insulation, vapor barrier, duct sealing and duct insulation among other things.

She was very, but pleasantly, surprised when I told her we could take care of everything on the list she had been given. Do you know what she said to me? She said “I was wondering how many contractors I was going to have to deal with in order to get everything taken care of. Sounds like your company is the only contractor I need.”
